A Controller (or Financial Controller) is a senior-level accounting professional responsible for overseeing an organization’s financial operations, including financial reporting, budgeting, internal controls, and payroll. They ensure accuracy and regulatory compliance (GAAP/IFRS), analyze financial data to support strategic decision-making, and manage the accounting department, reporting to the CFO.
