A Payments Officer, or Payments Specialist, manages daily financial transactions, ensuring accurate processing, recording, and reconciliation of incoming/outgoing payments while adhering to compliance policies. Key duties include verifying invoices, processing bank transfers (SWIFT, BACS, CHAPS), handling foreign exchange, and resolving payment discrepancies.
Responsibilities
Responsibilities: • Handle customer payments and money transfers accurately • Respond to customer inquiries via digital communication channels and in person • Follow up on leads and assist in converting them into sales • Welcome and support walk-in customers with product and service information • Ensure a positive customer experience at all times • Maintain basic transaction records and customer information • Coordinate with team members and support daily store operations Qualifications: • Strong communication skills (Arabic required; English preferred) • Ability to handle customers professionally under pressure • Basic sales and customer service experience • Good organizational and multitasking skills • Trustworthy, detail-oriented, and reliable
