Responsibilities:
• Analyze current and past trends in key performance indicators and report back to the team on a continuous basis.
• Provide analytical support to our various teams by identifying key variables, distilling insights from data, and presenting findings and recommendations.
• Provide actionable insights to management that help in strategic business planning.
• Collaborate across teams, including operations, product, sales, and marketing to provide them with needed data.
• Monitor business processes through the operational metrics across different platforms.
• Develop hypotheses and investigate to find patterns and insights.
• Explore new opportunities for improvement of sales, marketing, and operational performance.
• Prepare weekly and monthly performance reports.
• Propose, implement, and evaluate A/B tests to select improved marketing, website, and sales approaches.
• Create and maintain data dashboards for monitoring performance.
• Collect and integrate data from various sources.
• Work with tech team to track new relevant metrics and events for future analysis.
• Validate data and work with tech team to identify and correct incorrect data.
• Create, develop, and maintain various studies and analyses related to pricing, costs, breakeven analysis, payback period, conversion rates, etc.
• Excel financial modelling.
• Conduct research and benchmarking analyses on the industry, competition, and customers.
• Research software solutions and summarize for management the pros and cons of implementing them.
Qualifications:
• 4 to 5 years of experience in a data analyst position.
• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Economics or Business Management.
• Able to take initiative in exploring data and processes to find insights and areas of improvement.
• Strong quantitative background preferably with experience handling data sets and using data visualization tools (Zoho Analytics, Power BI, Tableau, Google Data Studio, or similar).
• Must be power Excel user, with analysis that is meticulous and presentable.
• Familiarity with basic statistics concepts (correlations, significant sample sizes, etc)
• Familiarity with Facebook Analytics, Google Analytics, Google Ads, Snapchat and TikTok ad managers is preferred.
• Understanding of how UTMs and tracking work
• Ability to present complex data in a concise and understandable way for other team members.
• Capability to prioritize and deliver on multiple pieces of work without losing attention to detail.
• Ability to quickly learn new skills and methodologies.
• Familiarity with basic SQL or programming in general.
